The Black Menaces.

In early February of 2022 five friends decided that change needed to happen in order to make their predominantly white institution a safe place for ALL students. We created the Black Menaces to reform systems that oppress anyone that is "othered" for just being themselves.

Through social media platforms like Tik Tok, Instagram, and Twitter we highlight how PWIs (Predominantly White Institutions) do not create safe spaces for marginalized students. We highlight overt and covert racism, homophobia, xenophobia, sexism and more through questions. We share the stories and experiences of any and all marginalized students.

As the Black Menaces, we seek to make all necessary changes at universities across the nation to ensure the mental, emotional, and physical safety of ALL students. Through reforming the curriculum, systems, and management change will occur to make equitable standards.
